Our Story

The founder of Applied Behavioral Learning Group was among the pioneering behaviorists serving clients in Los Angeles County as early as 1996. She collaborated closely with fellow behavior analysts to demonstrate the effectiveness of B.F. Skinner’s behaviorism, which laid the foundation for what we now know as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Following the passage of state legislation funding ABA services for children diagnosed with autism—and the introduction of formal certification for behavior analysts—our founder launched a service organization dedicated to intensive early intervention. This vision became reality in October 2003 with the founding of Yi and Associates, which later evolved into Applied Behavioral Learning Group, Inc., initially serving families in the San Gabriel Valley

As the demand for quality ABA services grew, so did our reach. We expanded throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area, including the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Antelope Valley, and South Bay. In 2024, our mission extended globally as we began supporting children and families worldwide through humanitarian outreach and contributions.
